You and your family will never have the chance to be bored when you stay at Old Boyneside!

Our 2,500 ha working property has over 50 horses, 300 breeding cows, friendly cattle dogs, sheep, ducks, geese, chickens, turkeys and lots of native birds and animals.

Children just love petting, feeding and playing with our barnyard friends. And everyday farm activities are a real delight too.

Here's a quick list of just some of the things you can do when you stay at Old Boyneside:

  • Horse Riding
We have horses for all ages and all skill levels - and that includes horses for those who've never ridden before. You'll be saying "giddyup!" before you know it.
  • Wagon Rides
A really fun way to see the farm - collect some firewood or feed some animals while you're at it!
  • Animal Feeding
We have lots of animals who need to be fed daily. Why not lend a hand?
  • Cow Milking
We milk our house cow every day too. Try it yourself if you like!
  • Egg Collecting
Children adore collecting eggs from our hens, ducks, geese and turkeys - and it's always a real smorgasbord at breakfast time...
  • Bushwalking
We have lots of unspoiled bushland and wide open spaces to explore
  • Bird Watching
Old Boyneside has an amazing range of Australian native birds around the homestead, along the creek and throughout the property
  • Stargazing
Old Boyneside's location far from the city means the night sky is an exhilarating sight. Find out what "Big Sky Country" really means...
  • Dogs On Logs!
Getting photographed with the dogs at Old Boyneside is a keepsake for life!
  • Excursions
Tours of the Bunya Mountains National Park can be part of your stay
